Needs updating since adding all new Microsoft software.

Partial List of My Software

As a Registered Microsoft Partner with a subscription to the Microsoft Action Pack I receive all Microsoft Products with quarterly updates. The list below for Microsoft Software I Own is a partial list of the products available to me for use in my own office. This allows me freedom to try every product before I recommend it to a customer. Multiple copies allow me to install it on numerous systems to test in different configurations-much better than when I had to purchase a software product for each computer just like my customers. I am also now able to use the more expensive products that I could not justify buying to test for a customer. As a Partner I can also attend numerous Microsoft Seminars and almost "unlimited" online training programs covering any product and also general "workshops" teaching how to install and use products.

Before my Microsoft Partner Agreement I purchased thousands of dollars in software that was collected over the years and updated as needed. As a developer registered with most of the large software companies, I can get evaluation copies of most software for free or as little as 10 percent of their list price. I also buy any software that I need at regular price for my business and generally own a registered copy of any software that my clients use. I invest time to attend seminars given by companies like Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Compaq, etc. to learn how to use their products and they usually provide copies for our personal use. I have developed my own software since 1981 featuring the FileproPlus Database System and  integrating my programs with other software. I own everything I have provided to clients since that time which I use to create new versions and combinations for new needs. Below are examples of software created since 1981.

AFLAC OFFICE MANAGEMENT

In 1981 as a Regional Manager for AFLAC with as many as 10 District Managers and over 200 associates and over 1000 businesses offering payroll deduction benefits to their employees, I started development of  a computerized management system for use in my area. AFLAC purchased this system in 1985 for use in their state offices nationwide. I trained two states and AFLAC Home Office Support Staff and they have continued development using PC based marketing and now use laptops to enroll and submit applications in the field.. My original package is still in use in part and has been updated to suit the needs of other sales areas. Some of the modules included Agent Management (sales, quotas, contest standings, etc), policyholder Management (information only with provisions to solicit new sales), Claims Tracking (information used for new sales & referrals), Group Management (information including scheduling for reworks & new products), Prospective Clients (lists of businesses with contact data, etc), and others. These modules were integrated so that sales associates and managers were given weekly lists of groups and policyholders that needed to be reworked with claims records (over $8 million in my region at that time on cancer policies alone) and lists of other businesses as sales aids. Complete status and reporting systems allowed managers weekly updates on sales, quotas, contest standings, etc for themselves and their associates.

La COOP and MS COOP OFFICE MANAGEMENT

In 1988 and 1990 these Agencies purchased parts of the AFLAC system and we added modules for tracking policyholder payments to allow several hundred agents and managers to receive new sales and renewal commissions on policies sold. These are still being used as of 4/1/2003 and have been updated as needed for newer operating systems and computers. Click here for samples.

TIMBER OFFICE MANAGEMENT

In 1988 we started development of systems for the timber industry. Several hundred companies have used these and we continue to improve and update these packages today. The first package was a Ticket System to track loads of logs and chips from cutting to the mills. This system paid landowners, producers, haulers, subcontractors, tracked income due from mills, timber depleted from tracts, and many other needs of timber companies. It allows a business to keep track of the tickets generated by woodyards, sawmills, chip plants, etc.  and versions are available for businesses ranging from the logging contractor who keeps records on his ticket income and expenses for his producers to timber companies who own their mills and pay producer, cutters, haulers, stumpage owners, and others hauling to their mills.  Reports are available for printing easy weekly, monthly, or other period settlements at each level. The next package was a Sawmill System added in 1992 to track logs into mill, lumber inventory at various stages of production. The sawmill version keeps track of all lumber products produced by the mill and all shipments from the mill to provide a current inventory of products on hand for sale. Stages like rough green/dry, kiln, planer, finished and any others are available to provide an easy status for your mill.  Standard sizes and descriptions are included and you can assign others for special grades and products. Barcode systems are available and a complete Sawmill Sales Package was integrated into the system several years later. A Land Management System is used in conjunction with the ticket system and forester system to allow detailed management of tracts of land for timber purposes. Several hundred fields of data provide descriptions, leases, taxes, liens, boundaries, logging conditions, forest types & percentages, past & projected harvest and silvicultural data, and compares estimated cruises with actual products harvested along with other functions. Some versions of this package keep details of the products (pine saw logs, hardwood, pulpwood, etc) foresters estimated on the tract during their cruise and the actual products harvested from the tracts from the ticket files. We try to meet any need of the timber related industries such as the Anthony Forest Products Laminating Divisions. If we don't have it, we may develop it soon. Samples of some timber related files: Ward Timber (Maud, Linden, ); Anthony Forest ( Main Office, Sawmills, Laminating Division)
