CURRENT
BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
OWNER OF CUSTOM SOFTWARE &
SERVICES since 1981.
Work experience since graduation from
Georgia Tech in 1965 has included
numerous opportunities to develop and implement new businesses or
divisions of existing businesses. Started as a Consultant in 1985 with
AFLAC and as that business grew devoted more time to it. As a Consultant I
help many businesses set up or expand systems for their offices, selecting
the programs they need or developing custom programs, conduct initial
training, and then recommend future training from myself or others as
their needs require it. This includes advice and help in securing benefits
from other companies for employees. Major emphasis has been on
insurance, timber related work, sales, medical, inventory,
equipment maintenance, and special accounting needs. Owning all of my past
software and developments and a substantial amount of equipment and
software from others allows me to create packages that suit the customer
needs at a reasonable cost. As a Registered Microsoft Partner I get copies
of ALL Microsoft products for use in my own office so I am familiar with and
use anything I recommend.

-
DAVCO DIVISION OF DAVIS
WATER & WASTE- Thomasville, Georgia. One of the three largest
manufacturers of water pollution control equipment in the nation. In a new
position as Sales Office Manager my responsibility was to reorganize the
internal office sales staff using abilities developed in my previous
business experience and develop better procedures for sales coordination
with other departments. Within six month after we made these changes the
sales more than doubled and I received a modest bonus. At this time I
became employed with American Family Life Assurance (AFLAC) as a
self-employed sales manager.
- DIGITAL EQUIPMENT

supplier of computer logic modules at that time and one of the larger
computer manufacturers in the industry. In 1970 DEC formed a System
Engineering Group to take overall responsibility for the large multi-

defined the work required and grouped the tasks into an orderly
organization structure; formulated and implemented methods and procedures
to accomplish the tasks of the support section; established accounting and
bookkeeping procedures; established and implemented procedures for
reviewing and processing all multi-computer system orders, purchasing,
inventory control, and production planning. A desire to move back to the
south prompted my change.

assembled fourteen automatic checkout systems- called ACE - at the Kennedy

peripherals and other equipment by 19 other manufacturer including GE and
IBM. This combined computer system can check out and locate a defect in
any tiny component within the spacecraft in seconds. This equipment was
used to check out and launch the Apollo Spacecraft and Lunar Module. As a
Computer Engineer and then a Systems Engineer, I was directly responsible
