I have been designing and supporting custom software in the Ark-La-Tex area since 1981 with businesses and individuals in most common needs of computerized systems, software, and business organization.

As a Consultant I help many businesses and individuals set up or expand systems for their offices or homes, selecting the programs they need or developing custom programs, conduct initial training, and then recommend future training from myself or others as their needs require it. Owning all of my past software and developments and a substantial amount of equipment and software from others allows me to create packages that suit the customer needs at a reasonable cost.

If you have high speed cable access (like RoadRunner), you already have a Web Site included with your service. Want some help setting it up? Have more than one computer but only one connected to the Internet? A small network with a Router can give all of your computers the same internet access without paying for more than one connection. That also allows you to share printers, CD Writers, backup devices, and files with your other computers. A Wireless Router can do this without the cables within a house or small office. This equipment is not expensive. Time and knowledge to set it up generally costs more than the equipment and regular cable installers or home users do not usually do this. I do!

Most computers come with some "office suite" software and accounting software already installed. Some come with Microsoft Works and others with WordPerfect and Microsoft Office and other packages are available. With some initial training and knowledge of how to use any of these, you can operate small businesses with these products. I show you what you have available and how to use it and even set it up for you initially if needed. You save lots of time & frustration!

Microsoft Office Development services include the custom design or enhancement of Office products to meet the needs of your home or business. Development services range from design of custom Access databases to creation of macro scripts in Word. Customization of Office software might also include the integration of a program with the product of a different vendor. Office Products include Word processing. Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Access database, and Outlook Mail, Schedules, Contacts, Addresses, Calendar, Notes, Tasks, etc.

Networking services are primarily intended for Small Office / Home Office (SOHO) applications; however my services are capable of extending to  mid-sized LAN applications for networks consisting of 100 users or less. I offer planning, installation, and support for most common network architectures and some special ones.

You may have Windows 96, 98, 2000, ME, XP or some mixture on your computers. Microsoft wants you to upgrade to their newest version and says they don’t support older versions. Other software vendors may also require upgrades. Newer equipment may be required to use newer versions and may not be compatible with your older systems. It’s expensive and perhaps unnecessary to do everything they tell you to do. If you do buy a new computer, you may want software and files from your old system moved to the new one. It’s possible in most cases but not always simple.
